Master Swim

AVAC's Master Swim Program provides coached, challenging, interval-type swim training for people who want to improve their fitness & speed – for swim competition, triathlons, or simply for personal enjoyment. A workout open to any adult who has an interest in challenging, interval-type swim training. If you're comfortable swimming freestyle and can swim 1000 yards in 20 minutes, you are a perfect candidate for the Master Swim Program.

Mondays. Wednesdays, & Fridays from 6 - 7 pm held in our Outdoor Pool Lap Swimming.
45 minute slots available by reservation.

Swimming Pool Etiquette

  • Rule 1: Swim on the right side of the lane – just as you drive your car in the USA.
  • Rule 2: If you are tapped on the toes, a faster swimmer wants to pass you; simply pull over to the right when you reach the pool wall and let the other swimmer pass.
